Thema/Theme

Marc Bekoff zal over vele thema's spreken waaronder honden en hun gedrag, hun emoties en hun spelgedrag. Het kan zijn dat als daar tijd voor is dat Marc ook enkele demonstraties zal geven.

Marc Bekoff is going to talk about a lot of theme's of which dogs and their behaviour, their emotions and their playbehavoiour. It could be possible that, if there is time, that Marc will give some demonstrations.  

Doel/Goal

Het doel van deze dagen is om mensen onder andere meer informatie, begrip en inzicht te geven in het feit dat dieren, waaronder honden, wel degelijk emoties hebben alsmede meer inzicht in hun gedrag en hun spelgedrag.

The goal of these days is to give people at least more information, understanding and insight about the fact that animals, of course also dogs, do have emotions and to give more insight in their behaviour and their playbehaviour.

Door wie wordt dit seminar gegeven/Who is presenting this seminar

Door Marc Bekoff (Amerika). Zoals gezegd is Marc een bioloog en schrijver. Daarbij is hij ook professor emeritus Ecology and Evolutionaire Biologie aan de Universiteit van Colorado (Amerika). Hij is onder meer schrijver van het beroemde en reeds in het Nederlands vertaalde boek 'Het Emotionele leven van Dieren' en het nog niet vertaalde boek 'The Animal Manifesto'.

This seminar will be presented by Marc Bekoff who lives in United States of America. Like said before he is a bioloog and writer. Also is he a professor emeritus Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Colorado (America). He has written among a lot of other things the famous boek called 'The Emotional Live of Animals' which has been translated in Dutch and also the book called 'The Animal Manifesto' which has not (yet) been translated in Dutch.

This weekend is for anyone who wants to find out more - whether you are a pet owner, vet, trainer or behaviourist, or work with rescue dogs.

Deelnemers/Participants

Het aantal mensen dat kan deelnemen is beperkt. Meld u dus tijdig aan want vol=vol!

The number of participants is limited. Register on time because full=full!

Honden/Dogs

Dit is een seminar en dus zullen er GEEN honden aanwezig zijn. Indien Marc Bekoff een demonstratie zal geven, dan zal er door de organisatie voor zorg worden gedragen dat daarvoor honden aanwezig zijn met goedkeuring van de eigenaar. Wij verzoeken u hiermee rekening te houden en een andere oplossing voor uw hond(en) te zoeken. Uiteraard zijn blindengeleiden- en/of hulp/assistentiehonden gewoon welkom.

This is a theory seminar and so there will be NO dogs attending. If Marc Bekoff wants to give a demonstration, than the organisation will provide him the dogs he needs for that moment with permission of the owner. We ask you to keep this in mind and to make other arrangements for your dog(s). Of course are assistance dogs more then welcome.

De voertaal van Marc Bekoff is Amerikaans Engels en daarom zal het seminar in het Engels door hem worden gegeven. 

The working language of Marc Bekoff is American English and that is why this seminar will be given in the English language.

Kosten/Costs

De kosten voor deze twee dagen bedragen € 195,00 (exclusief btw). Het bedrag is inclusief beide dagen onbeperkt gebruik van koffie/thee/water (met en zonder bubbels) alsmede twee maal uitgebreide lunch bestaande uit diverse soorten brood (wit brood, bruin brood, suikerbrood en/of krentenbrood, sesambroodjes, maanzaadbroodjes, witte puntjes, tarwe bollen, witte bollen), verschillende vleessoorten en beleg, kaas, kroket, versgemaakte soep (iedere dag verschillend), diverse soorten handfruit, koffie, thee en melk.

Indien je vegetarisch bent, verzoeken wij je dit expliciet op het inschrijfformulier te melden zodat we dit tijdig kunnen doorgeven.

The costs for these two days are € 195,00 (exclusive tax). This amount of money is inclusive unlimited use of coffee/tea/soft drink on request/water (with and without bubbles) as well as an extensive lunch with several types of bread (white loaf, brown loaf, sugar loaf and/or currant loaf, sesame bread rolls, maw-sees bread rolls, two types of white bread rolls, wheat bread rolls), various types of meat and sandwich filling, cheese, a croquette, freshly-baked soup (different every day), various types of hand fruit (like apple, banana etc), coffee, tea and milk.

We have arranged also something for vegetarian people. We ask you to mention this explicit on the form so that we can mention this in time.
